Our process may be delicate, but the end product is hard as concrete. When fired in our kilns at over 400 degrees, the raw clay particles fuse together into ceramic.

The Ajabu process is done by hand. From the clay collection to the hand rolling and dyeing and the packaging process, everything is done by hand. We pride ourselves on using the talents of our wonderful artisans to create a meaningful piece.

Ajabu Beads are made from raw clay from the regions of Mt. Kenya & Masai Mara, color is added through our 50+ natural dyes. Plastic is never seen in the Ajabu creation process.
